Full Biography
Yutte Stensgaard, born Jytte Stensgaard, was a Danish actress who emigrated to the UK in 1963 with aspirations for an international film career. Initially using the name 'Yutte' for ease of pronunciation, she appeared in Italian and British films, including 'The Girl with a Pistol' (1968) and 'Lust for a Vampire' (1971). She also hosted a game show with Bob Monkhouse for six months. Despite her beauty and talent, Stensgaard faced difficulties with casting directors who preferred established actresses. Eventually, she moved to the USA in the mid-1970s and worked as a salesperson for a Christian radio station in Oregon. Later, she reluctantly made appearances at horror conventions upon request from British film publicists.
