Judy Matheson, born Judith C. Matheson in Thurrock, Essex, England, began her acting career post-drama school with tours of the United States and prominent Shakespeare productions like 'Measure for Measure'. She rose to fame after starring in 'The Exquisite Cadaver' (1969), subsequently appearing in several notable Hammer horror films such as 'Twins of Evil', 'Lust for a Vampire' (both 1971), and more. Matheson also made TV appearances throughout the 1970s, including 'Blake's 7'. She left acting at the end of the decade, married, had children, but still occasionally meets fans at film conventions.
