Julie Walters (born Julia Mary Walters on February 22, 1950) is an English actress, author, and comedian. She rose to prominence playing the title role in 'Educating Rita' and has appeared in numerous films including 'Calendar Girls'. Notable roles include Molly Weasley in the Harry Potter series. Walters has won four British Academy Television Awards and two British Academy Film Awards. She was made a Dame (DBE) in 2017 for services to drama.
