Full Biography
Ilfenesh Hadera, born to Ethiopian refugee father Asfaha Hadera and American mother Kim Nicholas, spent her early years in New York City. She graduated from Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts, and later studied acting at the Harlem School of Arts. Hadera worked as a waitress for ten years while living with her parents until she was 30. She also assisted her father's African Services Committee.
