Full Biography
Cristina Raines, born February 28, 1952 in Manila, Philippines to American parents, was primarily raised in Florida. After graduating high school and moving to New York City, she pursued a career as a model with Ford Modeling Agency. Encouraged by Eileen Ford, she auditioned for acting roles and landed her first lead in 'Hex' (1973). Raines had notable roles in films like 'Nashville' (1975), 'The Sentinel' (1977), and 'Quo Vadis?' (1985), as well as television series such as 'Flamingo Road' (1980-1982). She retired from acting in 1991 to become a nurse specializing in kidney dialysis.
