Zabou Breitman, born Isabelle Breitman on October 30, 1959, is a French actress and director. Born into a family of actors—her parents being Jean-Claude Deret and Céline Léger—she began her acting career at the age of four. Since then, she has appeared in numerous films, TV movies, and theater productions from 1981 onwards. She is known for her role as Gwendoline in the film 'Perils of Gwendoline in the Land of the Yik Yak' (1984). Breitman made her directorial debut in 2001 with 'Se souvenir des belles choses,' earning a César Award for Best Debut. She has two children, Anna (born 1990) and Antonin (born 1993), with sculptor Fabien Chalon.
