Yvonne McCord, born Carol Heath, was a young and aspiring singer from Los Angeles who moved to Tokyo after answering an advertisement for a job opportunity at the White Orchid nightclub. Upon arrival, she discovered that the club was a front for prostitution run by the Yakuza.
