Tina Aumont, born Maria Christina Aumont in Hollywood, California, was an American actress of French and Dominican descent. She is best known for her role in 'Salon Kitty' (1976). Born to actors Jean-Pierre Aumont and Maria Montez, she married actor Christian Marquand at age 17. Aumont began her acting career as Tina Marquand in 'Modesty Blaise' (1966). She worked extensively in Italian cinema with notable directors such as Tinto Brass ('L'urlo', 'Salon Kitty') and Federico Fellini ('Fellini's Casanova'). After retiring from film work in 2000, she died of a pulmonary embolism at age 60 in Port-Vendres, France.
