Full Biography
Sasha Luss was born on June 6, 1992, in Magadan, Russia, and moved to Moscow at a young age. She started her modeling career at 14 when she signed with IQ Models in Moscow. At 16, she walked her first fashion show for Alena Akhmadullina during Moscow Fashion Week. Luss quickly gained fame in the Russian fashion industry, appearing in Vogue Russia and L'Officiel Russia in 2008. She then worked with DNA Model Management in Europe and New York but returned to Russia to complete her education. In 2011, she signed with Elite Model Management in Paris and Women Management in Milan as a development model. Luss's career flourished; she walked in numerous shows for prestigious brands like Prada, Valentino, Calvin Klein, Louis Vuitton, and Givenchy during Fall/Winter 2013 and Spring/Summer 2014 seasons. She was named 'Model of the Year' by Glamour Russia in 2013 and became the new face of Dior Beauty. Luss has been featured on the covers of Numéro, Vogue Russia, and Vogue Italia, and captured by renowned photographers like Steven Meisel and Peter Lindbergh.
