Sarah Polley (born January 8, 1979) is a Canadian filmmaker and actress who began her career as a child actor. She rose to prominence playing Ramona Quimby in 'Ramona' and Sara Stanley in 'Road to Avonlea'. Polley has acted in numerous films including 'The Adventures of Baron Munchausen', 'Exotica', 'Guinevere', and 'Dawn of the Dead'. Notably, she won a Canadian Screen Award for Best Director for her debut feature film 'Away from Her'.
