Full Biography
Sara Hjort Ditlevsen, born to physicist father and school teacher mother, lived in a commune until age 15 with sisters Amalie and Lea. After high school, she moved first to Berlin then Vesterbro, Copenhagen. She began her acting career, breaking through as Katrin on TV show 'Performances'. Ditlevsen won Best Actress Bodil Awards for films 'Excuse Me' (2013) and 'The Duke of Burgundy' (2016).
