Venezuelan actress Samantha Castillo, born March 12th, 1980, in Los Teques, Venezuela, has over fifteen years of theater experience. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Arts from Central University of Venezuela and has trained in various acting techniques in Venezuela and Cuba. Castillo gained recognition for her role as 'Marta' in the award-winning film 'Pelo Malo' (2013), directed by Mariana Rondon, which she promoted at international festivals, earning seven awards and two nominations. She also portrayed Latin music icon La Lupe in 'Malquerido', winning best supporting actress awards at Merida and Caracas Film Festivals. Castillo's commitment to roles included learning Italian for 'Le Badanti' and taking pole dance lessons for a scene. Additionally, she contributed to theater research and teaching in Venezuela.
