Full Biography
Sabina Akhmedova began her acting career at age 16, attending Moscow's Institute of Modern Arts and studying under members of the Moscow Art Theatre. She performed in various stage productions such as 'Summer and Smoke', 'Small tragedies', and 'The house of Bernarda Alba'. After graduating, she joined Stas Namin's 'Music and Drama Theatre' as a lead actress, appearing in both dramas and musicals like 'Hair' and 'Jesus Christ Superstar'. Akhmedova made her film debut in 'Christmas Gift' (2001) and gained prominence playing Tamara in MTV's comedy series 'The Club'. Her most acclaimed role to date is Lana in 'Diversant 2'. She has also studied at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles. Recently, she portrayed Goneril in 'King Lear' at the Strasberg Theatre and appeared as Amy in the independent film 'Taxi Man'.
