Rya Kihlstedt, born July 23, 1970 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA, is an American actress of Swedish descent. She graduated from Skidmore College in Theatre Arts in 1991 and has appeared in the drama film 'Jaded' (1998). Kihlstedt is married to actor Gil Bellows and they have two children: Ava Emanuelle (born 1999) and Giovanni (born 2001). She is also the sister of violinist Carla Kihlstedt.
