Rossy de Palma, born in Palma de Mallorca and originally a singer-dancer for the band Peor Imposible, was discovered by Pedro Almodóvar in Madrid in 1986. Her unique appearance led to roles in several of his films like 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown' and 'Law of Desire'. She gained international recognition as an iconic fashion figure after starring in Robert Altman's 'Prêt-à-Porter' (1994). Today, she is a theater actress, charity spokesperson, and luxury campaign face. She resides in France with her two sons.
