Raquel Welch (born Jo Raquel Tejada, September 5, 1940 - February 15, 2023) was an American actress who rose to fame after her role in 'Fantastic Voyage' (1966). She became an international sex symbol following her appearance in 'One Million Years B.C.' (1966), despite having only three lines of dialogue. Known for playing strong female characters, Welch starred in films like 'Bedazzled', 'Bandolero!', '100 Rifles', and 'The Three Musketeers'. She won a Golden Globe Award for Best Motion Picture Actress in a Musical or Comedy for her role as Constance Bonacieux in the latter film. Welch also made several television variety specials.
