Rachel Skarsten
Full Biography
Rachel Skarsten, born April 23, 1985 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, is a Canadian actress known for her roles in various TV series. She speaks English and Norwegian fluently and holds a double degree in English Literature and Classical Studies from Queen's University. Starting her career in theatre at the Royal Alexandra Theatre, Skarsten debuted on television in 'Birds of Prey' (2002) as Dinah Lance/Black Canary. In 2010, she played Tamsin in Syfy's 'Lost Girl', and later portrayed Elizabeth I of England in CW's 'Reign' (2013), earning critical acclaim. She then took on the role of Beth Kane/Alice in The CW's 'Batwoman' (2019).
