Patrice Michelle Donnelly, born April 30, 1950, is an American retired track and field athlete and actress. Known for her role in 'Personal Best' (1982), she was initially a hurdler but later switched to pentathlon. Her character, Chris Cahill, struggled with confidence despite natural ability, while her friend Torry Skinner, played by Mariel Hemingway, had less ability but more psychological drive. Donnelly's athletic career and personal life were intertwined in the film.
