Full Biography
Nicolette Krebitz was born and raised in West Berlin. She studied classical dance at Berlin’s Ballett Centrum, obtained her acting diploma from the Fritz Kirchhoff Drama School in 1992, and has been acting in cinema and TV productions since 1982. In 1999, she directed her own film, 'Jeans', alternating between directing and acting thereafter. Notably, she was awarded the Berlin Art Prize for Film and Media Arts by the Academy of Arts in 2019.
