Michelle Duncan (born April 14, 1978) is a Scottish actress known for her role as Portia in 'The Merchant of Venice' at Shakespeare's Globe. Born in Perth, Scotland, she trained at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and studied English and Classics at St Andrews University. Duncan has appeared in TV shows like 'Sugar Rush', 'Doctor Who', 'Lost in Austen', and a TV film as Princess Diana. She has also acted in films such as 'Atonement', 'Brøken' (2008), and 'Driving Lessons'. Currently, she works as a Drama and English Teacher at Forest School, Snaresbrook.
