Marlène Jobert, born on November 4, 1943 in Algiers, Algeria (then French territory), is a French Pied-Noir actress and author. She moved to Metropolitan France at the age of eight. Besides acting, she has authored and narrated audio books, mainly for children, and written series of books introducing classical music such as Mozart, Chopin, and Tchaikovsky. Jobert's daughter Eva Green is also an actress.
