Full Biography

Marie-Louise Ekman (born Marie-Louise Ester Maude Fuchs on 5 November 1944) is a Swedish painter and film director. She married artist Carl Johan De Geer from 1966 to 1971, then director and writer Johan Bergenstråhle from 1971 to 1980, and actor Gösta Ekman from 1989 to 2017. After various relationships in her youth, she acted in a play and became pregnant while cultivating her artistic ambitions in the seventies.
