Full Biography
Maria Valcheva Bakalova (born 4 June 1996) is a Bulgarian actress known for her role as Tutar Sagdiyev in the 2020 film 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm', for which she won a Critics' Choice Movie Award and received nominations at major awards. Born and raised in Burgas, Bulgaria, Bakalova began her career appearing in Bulgarian films while studying at the National Academy for Theatre and Film Arts in Sofia. She acted in movies like 'Transgression' (2017) before gaining international recognition with 'Borat Subsequent Moviefilm'. Since then, she has been part of several American productions including 'The Bubble' (2022) and 'Bodies Bodies Bodies' (2022).
