María Rojo, born María de Lourdes Rojo e Incháustegui on August 15, 1943, in Mexico City, is a renowned Mexican actress with a career spanning over six decades. She struggled with dyslexia and insecurity as a child but found solace in acting, beginning her artistic journey at age eight with the Teatro Fantástico program. Rojo has since earned numerous accolades, including the Ariel Award's 'Ariel de Oro', among 11 nominations, cementing her status as one of Mexico's finest actresses.
