Full Biography
Lia Bugnar starred in 'Patul conjugal' (1993), a Romanian film set during post-Ceausescu Bucharest. The movie follows Vasile Potop, Lia's character, who struggles to make ends meet and afford an abortion for his pregnant wife Carolina. Vasile tries various means to raise money, including attempting to sell a copy of Ceausescu's book that wasn't destroyed during the revolution.
