Keke Palmer, born Lauren Keyana "Keke" Palmer on August 26, 1993, is an American actress known for her diverse roles across film and television. She debuted professionally as a child with roles in 'Barbershop 2: Back in Business' (2004) and 'The Wool Cap' (2004). Her breakthrough came with the lead role of Akeelah Anderson in the drama 'Akeelah and the Bee' (2006). Palmer gained further recognition for her role as Wednesday, a female pimp, in the urban gritty drama 'Pimp' (2018).
