Jewel Shepard is an American actress, writer, and photographer known for her roles in B-movies like 'The Junkman' (1982), 'Return of the Living Dead' (1985), and 'Party Camp' (1987). Born in the United States, she moved to California in the early 1980s where she worked as a stripper and model before breaking into film. Shepard has also written for publications like Premiere and Cosmopolitan, and published an autobiography in 1996 titled 'If I'm So Famous, How Come Nobody's Ever Heard of Me?'. She has been battling invasive breast cancer since 2011.
