Jessica Lange was born on April 20, 1949. She rose to prominence with her debut role as Dwan in Dino De Laurentiis's 'King Kong' (1976), for which she received a Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year. Throughout her career, Lange has been recognized with numerous accolades, including two Academy Awards, three Primetime Emmy Awards, and a Tony Award. She is known for her versatile roles in films like 'Tootsie' (1982), 'Frances' (1982), and 'Blue Sky' (1994), as well as TV series such as 'American Horror Story'.
