Peregrinação (2017) is a historical drama based on the voyages of Fernão Mendes Pinto, one of the first Europeans to explore India, Japan, and other places in Asia during the 16th century. The film uses Portuguese singer-songwriter Fausto's album 'Por Este Rio Acima' as inspiration for its soundtrack.
