Jaimie Alexander, born on March 12, 1984 in Greenville, South Carolina, moved to Grapevine, Texas at age four. She is the only daughter among five siblings. Alexander's acting journey began in grade school theater classes but she was later excluded due to her singing abilities. She subsequently pursued sports. At 17, she met her manager Randy James through a friend's meeting with a scouting agency, leading her to move to Los Angeles after graduating high school to pursue an acting career.
