She worked as a journalist and photographer, adopting the pseudonym 'Emanuelle' for her writings. Eberlin's first film appearance was in 'Emanuelle nera' (1975), where she portrayed the titular character, Emanuelle Jordan, a journalist who travels to Africa on assignment.
