Ingrid Chauvin, born October 3, 1973, in Argenteuil, France, aspired to be an actress from childhood despite her parents' initial opposition. After studying and working as a professional make-up artist, she began acting in theater productions like 'Tromper n'est pas jouer' (1997) and 'Sylvia' (1998). She gained prominence in TV roles, notably in the series 'Femmes de loi' (2000-2007), playing Marie Balaguère. In 2005, she starred in the miniseries 'Dolmen'. Chauvin was involved in a serious car accident in 2003 and has had relationships with actors Laurent Hennequin (2001-2004) and Jean-Michel Tinivelli (2004-2006). She married Thierry Peythieu in 2011, and they have a son named Tom born in 2016.
