Full Biography
Illona Helen Wieselmann, born of Austrian descent during World War I, migrated to Odense, Denmark in 1921 as a child ('wienerbarn'). She debuted at age 11 on Odense Teater and later joined Det kongelige Teater from 1926 until 1953. Her notable role was Esther in 'Indenfor murene'. She appeared in three films: 'De bør forelske Dem' (1935), 'Afsporet' (1942), and 'Så mødes vi hos Tove' (1946).
