Hana Selimović was born in Belgrade, Serbia, and is closely related to prominent writer Meša Selimović. She works as an actress at the National Theatre of Belgrade and serves as an assistant at the Academy of Arts' acting department. Selimović's first significant film role was in Oleg Novković's 'Beli, beli svet' (White, White World).
