Glynis Barber, born Glynis van der Riet on 25 October 1955, is a South African actress known for her roles in various British television series such as 'Dempsey and Makepeace', 'EastEnders', 'Emmerdale', and 'Blake's 7'. In the movie 'Wicked Lady' (1983), she portrayed Caroline, a bored aristocrat who turns to highway robbery for excitement after marrying Sir Ralph. She also seduces her sister's fiancé, leading to her own marriage and subsequent criminal activities.
