Full Biography
Gabriella Pession starred as Maria Carolina of Austria in the 1999 Italian historical drama film 'Ferdinando e Carolina'. The movie revolves around King Ferdinando I of Naples' memories on his deathbed, recalling his happier days before his coronation and political marriage to Maria Carolina. Despite the initial political nature of their union, they grew fond of each other, but court politics eventually divided them.
