Full Biography
Florence Guérin was born on June 12, 1965, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France. Her birth name is Florence Guérin, though she later adopted the name Florence Nicolas following a life-altering event in the late 1990s.
After winning the "Miss Cinema" title at the Cannes Film Festival in 1980, she pursued an acting career that spanned the 1980s and early 1990s. She became a well-known figure in European cinema, particularly for her roles in erotic dramas and thrillers. Some of her most prominent works include her lead performance as Anna in La Bonne (The Maid, 1986), as well as roles in Le Déclic (The Click, 1985), Bizarre (1987), and the horror film The Black Cat (1989).
In 1998, Guérin was involved in a severe car accident that resulted in the tragic loss of her five-year-old son, Nicolas. Following this tragedy and a period of recovery, she chose to return to the public eye and continue her work under the professional name Florence Nicolas as a tribute to him. In addition to acting, she has also been involved in set decoration and published an autobiographical book titled Pas grave, maman in 2009.
