Flávia Alessandra, born in Brazil, is of Portuguese descent and works as an actress and lawyer. She gained fame for her roles in various soap operas like História de Amor (Sônia), A Indomada (Dorothy), Meu Bem Querer, Porto dos Milagres, O Beijo do Vampiro (Lívia), Alma Gêmea (Cristina), Pé na Jaca (Vanessa), Duas Caras (Alzira), and others. She was married twice; first to director Marcos Paulo from 1992 to 2002 with whom she had a daughter, Giúlia Martins Simões. Later, she married actor Otaviano Costa in 2006, having another daughter, Olívia Martins da Costa.
