Evangeline Lilly, born Nicole Evangeline Lilly on August 3, 1979, is a Canadian actress known for her role as Kate Austen in the ABC drama series Lost (2004-2010), which earned her critical acclaim including six Saturn Award nominations and a Golden Globe nomination. She has also appeared in notable films such as The Hurt Locker (2008) and Real Steel (2011), portrayed Tauriel in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit trilogy, and played Hope van Dyne/Wasp in the Marvel Cinematic Universe from 2015 to 2023. Off-screen, Lilly is the author of a children's book series called The Squickerwonkers.
