She won a César Award for Best Supporting Actress for 'Manon des Sources' (1986) and was nominated seven more times for Most Promising Actress and Best Actress categories. Notably, she starred as Marianne in the 1991 French art film 'La Belle Noiseuse', directed by Jacques Rivette.
