Elisabeth Kaza, a French-Hungarian actress, starred as a paralyzed prostitute in the 1982 Italian film 'Malamore'. Set during World War I, the story revolves around Marcello, a deformed dwarf who falls in love with her. She is initially only interested in his money but later helps him escape an assassination plot by his lover. After a car accident that leaves her paralyzed, she remains by Marcello's side as a fellow-creature.
