Eleonora Giorgi, born on October 21, 1953 in Rome to Italian and English father and Italian and Hungarian mother, is an Italian actress known for her prominent roles in numerous films. Her breakthrough came at age 18 with 'Storia di una monaca di clausura' (1973), a notable nunsploitation film. She subsequently appeared in various genres including drama ('To Forget Venice', 'Inferno') and comedy ('Mani di velluto'). Giorgi's performance in 'Borotalco' (1982) earned her Nastro d'Argento and David di Donatello awards for Best Actress. In 2003, she wrote and directed her first film 'Uomini & donne, amori & bugie'.
