Dany Carrel, born Yvonne Suzanne Chazelles de Chaxel on 20 September 1932 or 1935 in French Indochina (now Vietnam), is a French actress. She retired gradually from acting starting in the eighties due to health issues, including two bouts of cancer and a COVID-19 hospitalization in 2021. There seems to be some discrepancy in her birth year.
