She portrayed Christine Hill in Dexter (2009), Portia Bellefleur in True Blood (2011), Lily in Parenthood (2012), Tonia Pyne in Murder in the First (2014), Kate Taylor in Revenge (2014), Kelly Kline in Supernatural (2016-2018), and Nora Darhk in Legends of Tomorrow (2017-2020). She also starred as the lead role in the Lifetime television film Kept Woman (2015). Ford has been married to actor Brandon Ruth since 2007, and they have one child.
