Clara Lee, born as Lee Sung Min in Switzerland to Korean singer Lee Seung Kyu, initially debuted under her birth name in 2005 but later adopted the stage name Clara due to her birth name being 'too male-sounding'. She started acting in films from 2009 and gained significant attention after throwing a ceremonial first pitch at a professional baseball game in form-fitting leggings in 2013. Clara then starred in various television series like Goddess of Marriage (2013) and Emergency Couple (2014), before landing her first leading role in the romance comedy film Casa Amor: Exclusive for Ladies (2015). In January 2019, she married Korean-American businessman Samuel Huang.
