Carrie Alexandra Coon, born on January 24, 1981, is an American actress who received a Tony Award nomination for her role in the revival of 'Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?' in 2012. In addition to her stage work, Coon gained prominence for portraying Nora Durst in the HBO drama series 'The Leftovers' from 2014 onwards. She also appeared in the thriller film 'Gone Girl' during that year.
