Caroline Cellier (7 August 1945 - 15 December 2020), born Monique Marie Louise Cellier in Montpellier, France, was a French actress known for her role in 'L'année des méduses' (Year of the Jellyfish) (1984). She began her acting career at age 19 after attending Cours Simon drama school. Throughout her career, she appeared in numerous films and plays, winning a César Award for her performance in 'L'année des méduses'. Her notable works include 'Que la Bête meure' (1969), 'Poker' (1984), and 'La Contre-allée' (1991). She was married to actor Jean Poiret from 1989 until his death in 1992. After battling breast cancer for seven years, she passed away in 2020 at the age of 75.
