Camryn Manheim, born Debra Frances Manheim on March 8, 1961, is an American actress known for her roles in TV series like 'The Practice' (for which she won a Primetime Emmy Award in 1999), 'Ghost Whisperer', and the current revival of 'Law & Order'. She also had notable roles in films such as 'Romy and Michele's High School Reunion' and 'Scary Movie 3'. Manheim's breakthrough came with her one-woman show 'Wake Up, I'm Fat', which she adapted into a book published by Broadway Books in 1999. Interestingly, she once worked as a sign language interpreter at hospitals, a skill she employed in some of her roles.
