Bryce Dallas Howard, born March 2, 1981, in Los Angeles, is an American actress and director known for her roles in 'The Village' (2004), 'Lady in the Water' (2006), 'Spider-Man 3' (2007), 'Terminator Salvation' (2009), and the Jurassic World series. She received critical acclaim for her performances in '50/50' (2011) and 'The Help' (2011). Howard also directed episodes of 'The Mandalorian' and 'The Book of Boba Fett'. Notably, she starred as Grace in Lars von Trier's 'Manderlay' (2005), a film about a young woman attempting to impose democracy on a cotton plantation with former slaves. Her father is actor/director Ron Howard.
