Birgitta Molin was a Swedish actress who became a recognized face in Scandinavian cinema during the 1960s and early 1970s. She was born as Birgitta Matilda Molin on April 4, 1938, in Karlshamn, Blekinge, Sweden.
Throughout her career, she appeared in a variety of films, often categorized within the Swedish "folkhem" cinema or the more provocative dramas of the era. Her notable credits include the comedy Åsa-Nisse slår till (1965), the drama Bamse (1968), and the thriller The Depraved (Exponerad, 1971). Molin’s active years in the film industry spanned roughly from 1965 to 1973, after which she largely stepped away from the spotlight.
